Did you know:
One in ten Calgarians experience insecure access to food due to financial constraints. Research shows that food insecurity in children is strongly linked to mental health problems and behavioral issues.
Currently BB4CK provides lunches to 2% of Calgary kids. The lunches are free and there are no barriers to participation.
The price of food has risen nearly 4% and the average Calgary family is spending almost $70 more for groceries every month. Food is expected to get even more expensive. Additionally, visits to the Calgary Food Bank have gone up by 44% since 2019.
During the month of May, ALL donations up to $50,000 will be matched by ARC Resources Ltd. Donate now to care for twice as many kids!
