Lumina works for roughly 60 different Oil & Gas companies each year, ranging from small to large, and covering all aspects of the industry – Upstream, Midstream, Downstream, and Service Companies. Our model focuses on adding value and allows our consultants to focus on delivering results, making unbiased recommendations, and doing what is right for our clients. Utilization rates and billing targets are not part of how we measure ourselves. It all comes down to the results we commit to delivering with our clients and following through on our commitments.
EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES
- Oil and gas depth with the ability to articulate the processes involved in the business of Oil & Gas. Have worked in an organization or in a consulting capacity serving clients for a minimum of 5 years.
- Technical expertise in at least one area of the following Oil & Gas functions: Operations, Asset Management, HR, Land, Finance, Marketing, SCM, Portfolio Planning or other; and an understanding of the systems landscape that supports these areas.
- Non-biased Solution Mindset meaning you are technologically capable, but solution and methodology agnostic.
- Experience with information systems / technology implementation projects.
- Consulting skills - defined as the flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity, to apply structure to complex situations, to scope work and manage people and projects, and to manage multiple client relationships.
- Client service mindset is critical, with an ability to build strong relationships with clients.
- Independent learner mindset, willing to deal with role ambiguity, can stand alone.
- Pragmatic, with an ability to recognize where and how to add value for clients.
- Have a track record of delivering results.
- Are broad minded, flexible, and adaptable.
- Desire to grow as part of a community and desire to be a consultant (versus a contractor); we want people who are excited about elevating Lumina and their own client work and continuing to grow as a professional
